At Visible, we're building the best pacing technology possible.

Updated over 5 months ago

At Visible, we’re dedicated to creating the most effective technology for pacing. That’s why we developed the Armband 2.0, in partnership with Polar, to deliver the best pacing guidance through superior heart rate monitoring. Here’s what sets it apart:

Continuous data

Most wearables capture heart rate sporadically—every 5–10 minutes—and only increase frequency during a “workout.” This delay makes real-time pacing unreliable. The Armband 2.0 provides continuous heart rate data, ensuring you’re alerted early enough to make meaningful adjustments.

High accuracy data

Optical heart rate sensors work by using light to measure blood flow in capillaries beneath the skin. The top of your wrist is a convenient place for a watch, but is a challenging location for even the best sensors. Wearing on the arm offers our optical sensor an optimal amount of blood flow to gather heart rate data with accuracy comparable to that of an ECG chest strap.

Consistent data

Capturing consistent high-quality data from a single device also allows us to build better, more reliable algorithms to help measure and manage complex illnesses.

We’re committed to taking complex illnesses seriously and refuse to compromise on delivering the best possible technology. For this reason, we don’t support other wearables like Apple Watch, Fitbit, or Garmin, as they fall short of the standards required for pacing guidance in managing complex illnesses.
