Troubleshooting and Connectivity

How can I prevent missing heart rate data?

  • Ensure the Visible app runs continuously in the background.

  • Avoid connecting Armband 2.0 to multiple devices or apps simultaneously.

  • Keep your armband within range of your phone, where possible.

Refresh data manually by going to your Heart Rate screen (via your Today tab), then pull below the heart rate graph until a tick appears.

How do I restart Armband 2.0?

To restart Armband 2.0 please follow these steps:

  1. Force-close the Visible app on your phone.

  2. While the charger is disconnected, press the small button on your armband (located on the top side, under the strap) using a pen or pin.

  3. Hold the button for 1–2 seconds.

  4. Release the button. The lights should turn back on.

Don't worry, restarting your armband won't erase your heart rate data.

Warning: Do not connect your armband to a charger while restarting your armband.
Doing so will reset the armband and erase all data, restoring Armband 2.0 to factory settings.

How do I update the firmware?

If a firmware update is available, go to Profile > About > Troubleshooting and select "Armband firmware update".

Why won't my armband connect to my new phone?

If you get a new phone, upgrade your phone, or swap phones, your Visible Armband 2.0 needs to be reset for security reasons before you can reconnect or pair with the Visible app on your new device.

Please follow the step-by-step instructions detailed in Resetting your Armband 2.0 to reset your armband and then connect to the Visible app on your new phone.
