Charging Overview
Visible Armband 2.0 charges using a magnetic charging cable that attaches to the device and plugs into a USB socket. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
Battery life: Up to 5 days of use on a single charge (146 mAh Li-pol rechargeable battery).
Charging indicator lights: The armband has four small red LED indicator lights that show charging progress. These lights will rotate while charging is in progress and turn solid red when fully charged.
First-time charging: The red indicator lights may rotate faster than usual when charging is complete. This indicates the armband is ready to connect to the Visible app.
Best practice: Always charge for at least one full hour, until the red lights indicate it's fully charged. We recommend recharging when the battery reaches 5-10%.
How do I charge Armband 2.0?
Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable to your Armband 2.0. Plug the other end into a USB charger (ideally a wall outlet).
Four rotating red LEDs show charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
How will I know when my armband is fully charged?
Always charge your Armband 2.0 for at least 1 hour and wait for the red indicator lights to show the device is fully charged.
First-time charging
When charging for the first time, you may see the four red LED indicator lights rotating faster than usual once charging is complete. This means that the device is fully charged and ready to pair with the Visible app.
Future charges
All four small red LED indicator lights will stop rotating and become solid red when the armband is fully charged.
Note that the Visible app may report 100% battery before the device is fully charged.
Charging tips
To get the most out of your device, here are a few simple charging tips:
1. Check the connection
Make sure the magnetic charging pins are correctly lined up and snapped into place against the sensor.
2. Always charge for at least an hour
The red LED indicator lights will start rotating when charging is in progress, and after around an hour, will go solid red when fully charged. If the battery is completely empty, it might take a few minutes before the lights come on.
3. Use a wall outlet
A wall outlet gives a stronger, more reliable power supply than a USB port on a computer or laptop.
4. Recharge at 5–10%
Don't wait until your battery is empty to recharge. Charging at 5-10% helps stop the armband from powering off when you need it most.
5. Close the Visible app while charging
Fully closing the Visible app stops the armband from trying to connect while charging, which can interfere with the charging process.
Troubleshooting: Armband 2.0 not charging
If your Armband 2.0 isn't charging as expected, for example, you place it on the charger and it's unresponsive, or you don’t see the red rotating lights that indicate charging status, we recommend the following troubleshooting:
Step 1: Check the basics
Check the charging connection: Make sure the magnetic charging pins are properly aligned and have snapped into place against the sensor. If needed, flip the armband and connect it the other way around.
Try another wall plug: For a stronger and more consistent power supply, always plug the charger into a wall outlet instead of a USB port on a computer or laptop. Try a few different plugs in case one is faulty.
Force close the Visible app. Close the Visible app completely while charging to prevent connection attempts.
Step 2: Restart your Armband 2.0
If your armband still won't charge, try a quick restart of your device. Don't worry, restarting your armband won't erase any heart rate data.
To restart your Armband 2.0:
Force-close the Visible app on your phone.
Unplug the armband from the charger.
Press the reset button on your armband (located on the top side, under the strap) using a pen or pin.
Hold the button for 1–2 seconds, then release. The lights should turn back on.
After restarting your armband, reconnect the charger and put the device back on charge for an hour. If the battery is completely empty, it may take several minutes for charging to start.
⚠️ Warning: Do not connect your armband to a charger while restarting your armband as this will perform a factory reset on your device.

Troubleshooting: Armband 2.0 battery draining too quickly
If your armband battery is depleting much faster than expected, there are steps you can take to improve battery performance.
Step 1: Update your firmware
In the Visible app, go to Profile > About > Troubleshooting > Armband firmware update and, if available, follow the prompts to update. Keeping your firmware up to date is key to ensuring optimal battery performance.
Step 2: Perform an in-app factory reset
Once your firmware is up-to-date, in the Visible app, go to Profile > About > Troubleshooting > Armband factory reset and follow the instructions to reset your armband.
Step 3: Fully charge your armband
After the reset, charge your armband for at least one hour. Make sure the red LED lights turn solid red to indicate a full charge, and always close the Visible app while charging.
Step 4: Monitor battery performance
Keep an eye on your battery over the next five days. If you're still having problems with battery drainage after completing the steps above, our Member Support team will be happy to help.
