Pacing notifications

Overview

  • You’ll get a pacing notification when you may be overdoing it.

  • There are two types: Exertion notifications and PaceSetter notifications.

  • You can turn notifications on or off, adjust timing, and change the alert sound.

How do I set pacing notifications?

Open the Visible app. To adjust your pacing notifications, go to the Profile page, then tap Pacing settings → Pacing notifications.

Your pacing notifications are split into two types: Exertion notifications and PaceSetter notifications.

What are Exertion notifications?

You’ll get an Exertion notification when you spend time in the Exertion zone. To pace effectively, you should minimize this time. The notification shows how long you’ve been in the Exertion zone. It’ll remind you to take it easy.

What are PaceSetter notifications?

PaceSetter notifications let you know when you’re ahead of your PaceSetter. They also alert you when you’ve hit your energy budget for the day. This can help you spread your energy use throughout the day.


How can I adjust my notifications?

  • You can turn these notifications on or off.

  • You can adjust how long you spend in Exertion before you’re alerted, depending on your pacing needs.

  • Finally, you can also change the sound of your notification alert tone.
