Resetting your Visible Band 2.0

The steps for resetting your band are quite involved, so it's really important to follow them carefully to reset your band successfully.

Step-by-step reset guide

  1. Unpair from the Visible app

    • Open the Visible app and navigate to the Today tab.

    • Tap the band icon in the top-right corner.

    • Select Unpair band and confirm.

  2. Force quit the Visible app

    • On iPhones, this means 'swiping it away' so it is no longer running in the background.

    • On Android, this means:

      • Open the Settings app on your device.

      • Scroll down and tap on Apps.

      • Find and tap on Visible in the list of apps.

      • Tap Force stop (you might need to confirm by tapping OK).

  3. Forget the band in Bluetooth settings

    • Go to your phone’s Settings and find Bluetooth.

    • Locate "Polar 360" in the list of paired devices and select Forget This Device (iOS) or Unpair (Android).

  4. Shut down your phone completely!

    • Please turn off your phone fully.

  5. Press the reset button while charging

    • Plug the band into a charger using the included USB cable. Make sure the band is charging before trying the reset and is not connected to a computer.

    • Locate the reset button on the top of the band (a tiny metal button).

    • While the band is charging, press and hold the button for about 3-4 seconds using a pen or similar tool. Make sure that the button is completely pressed down for this time. The lights on the band should turn off and then blink in a rotating fashion before returning to the normal charging pattern.

    • Unplug the band from the charger.

  6. Turn your phone on again

    • Turn your phone on again. This will reset your Bluetooth pairing information.

  7. Reconnect in the Visible app

    • Open the Visible app and navigate to the Today tab.

    • Tap Pair your Visible band.

    • If prompted to “pair” or “pair and connect,” make sure to accept all pairing requests.


Quick step-by-step checklist

Below is a quick reference to confirm you haven’t missed any steps. Feel free to use it as a handy reminder or final pass after going through the detailed instructions:

  1. Unpair from the Visible app

  2. Forget/Unpair the band in your phone’s Bluetooth settings

  3. Turn your phone off

  4. Press the reset button on your Visible Band 2.0 while it is charging (but not plugged in to a computer). The lights should go off and then illuminate in a circle. When it has done this you can remove from the band from the charger.

  5. Restart your phone

  6. Reconnect the band in the Visible app
