Switching to Visible Band 2.0

Guidance for members switching from the Polar Verity Sense to Visible Band 2.0

Updated today

Step 1: Charge Visible Band 2.0

(1) Connect the magnetic charging pins to the back of your band.

(2) Plug the USB cable into a USB port. If the battery is completely empty, it may take several minutes for the charging to start.

(3) We suggest charging the band for 1 hour to wake it from 'Warehouse Mode' and then connect the band to Visible.

(4) It takes around 1 hour to fully charge your band, which has a battery life of around 5 days when fully charged.

Step 2: Set up Visible Band 2.0

(1) The band is always on, there is no on or off button. It will only read a heart rate when in contact with the skin.

(2) Place the band on the wrist, upper arm, or forearm.

(3) Whilst we ask on what arm or wrist you will wear the band during onboarding it doesn't matter too much! If you wish to switch, this is not a problem.

Step 3 Disconnecting your Verity Sense and connecting Visible Band 2.0

There's no need to connect your band at the start of a new day. When the band arrives, disconnect your Verity Sense and start tracking with your Visible Band 2.0.

(1) Tap the icon in the top right of the corner

(2) Tap 'Unpair band' and turn off the Verity Sense.

(3) Tap 'Pair your band' - You should then see the option to connect Visible Band 2.0.

(4) You may be prompted to accept a pairing request. If you are, please tap 'Pair'.

Step 4: Keep the Visible app running in the background and wear the band as much as possible.

  • Keep Visible open and running in the background. Just like with your Polar Verity Sense, we recommend leaving your app running “in the background” while Visible Band 2.0 is connected to get the best data from your membership. This means that you shouldn’t force quit the app during the day (by “swiping the app away” in your task manager). You can still use other apps while Visible is running.

  • Wear your band as much as possible. The band is completely waterproof. You can use it while showering, bathing, or swimming. And while we haven't optimized sleep tracking yet, we recommend wearing your band overnight. You might wish to close the app down overnight to prevent any notifications. This might mean that the data in the morning might take some time to catch up before you can complete your Morning check-in.

  • You might also notice a slight increase in your PacePoints expenditure due to wearing the band more often. This is normal and you may need to slightly increase your budget to reflect these changes.

  • The band is always on: The band automatically stops reading if it cannot detect a heart rate. You can remove the band without worrying about turning it off when not in use. There is no on/off switch on the band.

  • Complete your check-ins. The check-ins provide the opportunity for the app and band to establish a connection in the morning and for the data display to catch up in the evening.
