Wearing Band 2.0

Where should I wear the band?

You can wear the band on the wrist, upper arm or upper forearm—either arm is fine.

How do I adjust my arm strap?

The arm strap is elastic and fully adjustable. To adjust the size of your arm strap, please see this video tutorial: https://visib.me/strap.

Are there any tips for wearing the Visible Band 2.0 with tattoos?

Tattoos, especially dark or densely patterned ones, may affect the accuracy of the optical heart rate sensor by interfering with light transmission. For the best results, try wearing your band on an area of skin without tattoos, or experiment with different positions on your wrist or arm to find the most reliable placement.


Purchasing and replacement

Can I buy a replacement Visible Band 2.0?

Visible Band 2.0 can only be purchased directly from Visible. If you lose your band you can buy a replacement directly in the Visible app. Please go to Profile > Visible Shop for more information.

Can I purchase an extra or second strap?

You can purchase spare Visible Band 2.0 wrist, arm, and XL arm straps directly in the Visible app. Please go to Profile > Visible Shop for more information.

How can I get a new charger for my band?

Visible Band 2.0 uses a Polar Charge 2.0 USB-A charger. It's a magnetic charging cable that attaches to the band and plugs into a USB socket. You can buy a replacement charger directly (subject to stock availability) in the Visible shop. Please go to Profile > Visible Shop for more information.

Can I buy a larger arm strap?

A larger arm strap measuring 9.8 - 17.3 inches (25 - 44 cm) is now available to buy directly (subject to stock availability) in the Visible app. Please go to Profile > Visible Shop for more information.

Are there straps available in other colours?

Visible Band 2.0 straps are only available in black. If you wish to purchase another colour, some users have successfully used COROS armband straps with their Visible Band 2.0 which are available in a few different colours.


Note: Visible Band 2.0 is a different device from the COROS heart rate monitor, the straps are compatible.

Can I upgrade to Visible Band 2.0 from my Polar Verity Sense?

If you're currently using a Polar Verity Sense with your Visible membership and want to upgrade to the new Visible Band 2.0, you can do so directly in the app. Simply go to the Profile tab and look for the card titled Visible Band 2.0. Tap Learn more and follow the steps to upgrade.

Note: If you don’t see the upgrade option, it may be because your phone isn’t compatible with Visible Band 2.0 or you're located outside our current shipping regions. If you're unsure, please get in touch with Member Support for help.


Materials and Durability

What materials are used in Visible Band 2.0?

The sensor:

  • Plastic (ABS+GF, PMMA)

  • Stainless steel (SUS 316, contains nickel)

The arm strap:

  • Polyester

  • Spandex

  • Nylon

  • PU coated knit fabric

  • Zinc alloy

The wrist strap:

  • Polyamide

  • Elastane

  • Aluminium and velcro buckle

  • Polyester care label.

Is Visible Band 2.0 waterproof?

Yes, the band is fully waterproof and safe to wear while swimming, showering, or bathing. If exposed to saltwater, ensure you clean the charging pins thoroughly to prevent buildup.


Cleaning and maintenance

How do I clean Visible Band 2.0?

Regularly wash your band's sensor and strap using mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and air-dry the strap by hanging it or laying it flat. Avoid using alcohol or disinfectants.

How do I turn off Visible Band 2.0?

There's no need to manually turn off the band. It automatically detects when you're wearing it and enters standby mode when not in use.


Troubleshooting and connectivity

How can I prevent missing heart rate data?

  • Ensure the Visible app runs continuously in the background.

  • Avoid connecting the band to multiple devices or apps simultaneously.

  • Keep your band within range of your phone, where possible.

Refresh data manually by going to your Heart Rate screen (via your Today tab), then tap and hold just below the graph where activity tags are, drag down and quickly release. If a spinning circle appears which turns into a tick, you've successfully refreshed.

Why won't my band connect to my new phone?

If you get a new phone, upgrade your phone, or swap phones, a full reset of your Visible Band 2.0 is needed for security reasons before you can reconnect or pair with the Visible app on your new device.


Please follow the detailed step-by-step instructions on How to reset your Visible Band 2.0 to fully reset it. Once complete, you will be able to connect your band to the Visible app on your new phone.


Band Operations and Updates

How do I restart Visible Band 2.0?

To restart the band please follow these steps:

  1. Force-close the Visible app on your phone.

  2. While the charger is disconnected, press the small button on your band (located on the top side, under the strap) using a pen or pin.

  3. Hold the button for 1–2 seconds.

  4. Release the button. The lights should turn back on.

Don't worry, restarting your band won't erase your heart rate data.

Warning: Do not connect your band to a charger while restarting your band.
Doing so will reset the band and erase all data, restoring the band to factory settings.

How do I update the firmware?

Keeping your band's firmware updated is a simple way to ensure your Visible Band 2.0 works at its best. Updates often include performance improvements or bug fixes—all designed to improve the quality of your experience.

To update your firmware:

  1. Connect your band to the Visible app (make sure it has at least 50% battery).

  2. Go to Profile > About > Troubleshooting > Band Firmware Update.

  3. If a new firmware version is available, follow the prompts to install.

What do the LED patterns represent?

  • This LED pattern is displayed when Visible Band 2.0 is on and ready to measure your heart rate, but the sensor is not in contact with your skin:

Additional capabilities

Does Visible Band 2.0 automatically track my sleep?

Visible Band 2.0 sleep tracking is currently available through an invite-only Early Access program. As one of our most requested features, we're looking forward to sharing more news about a wider release soon.

In the meantime, we recommend you continue wearing your band overnight and rating your sleep manually during your Morning check-in. To stay informed about the feature's release, please ensure your app is regularly updated and watch out for an invite to the Early Access program from us.

Can I continuously track HRV?

Currently, the band doesn't provide continuous HRV tracking. However, HRV data is collected during your Morning check-in.

Can I measure blood pressure?

No, the band doesn't track blood pressure.
