While charging, the sensor’s side light blinks certain colors to indicate its battery status. If you put your device on to charge and don't see a flashing light, check the following:
Step 1. Make sure the two small metal connectors on the Polar device are lined up with the metal connectors on the charging cradle.
Step 2. Make sure the charging cradle is inserted properly into the extension cable. The charging cradle fits into the extension cable upside down, so if it's not working, flip it over to double-check that you've oriented it correctly.
Step 3. Make sure the extension cable itself isn't causing issues by plugging the charging cradle directly into a USB port. Make sure that the cradle is inserted the correct way in the USB port, as it can fit in upside down.
Charging can be a little fiddly! If you have issues:
check that the charging cradle is correctly inserted into the extension cable (it fits upside down). Flip it over if necessary.
ensure the metal connectors on the Polar device align with those on the charging cradle
test the charging cradle by plugging it directly into a USB port to rule out issues with the extension cable.

0-10% | Red |
10-80% | Yellow |
80-100% | Green |
100% | Solid Green |
What is the battery life of the sensor?
A full charge should give a battery life of around 24 hours. We recommend charging the Polar sensor while you sleep, so it's fully charged when you wake up.
