Is the Verity Sense waterproof?

Yes, the armband can be safely worn while showering, bathing and swimming. The sensor is completely waterproof. However, if the sensor is exposed to saltwater, it's important to clean the charging pins to prevent saltwater buildup.

How do I clean the Verity Sense armband?

Regularly wash your Armband sensor and strap using mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and air-dry the strap by hanging it or laying it flat. Avoid using alcohol or disinfectants.

How do I adjust the Verity Sense strap?

The fabric armband strap is elastic and fully adjustable. To adjust, slide the metal buckle up or down the strap. For a visual explanation, please see this video tutorial: https://visib.me/strap.

How do I thread the Verity Sense strap back onto the sensor?

It's not necessary to remove the strap from the sensor housing, however if you have done this, here are the steps to rethread it.


Step 1. Pass the band through one side of the plastic sensor holder

Step 2. Pass the velcro strap back through the metal buckle using the bottom hole

Step 3. Return the strap through the top hole so the velcro faces towards you

Step 4: You should find that the armband looks like this when you're all done.

Where can I buy a spare strap for my Verity Sense?

We don't currently stock spare armband straps ourselves. However, you can buy one directly from Polar or from websites such as Amazon.

How do I update the firmware?

Keeping your armband firmware updated is a simple way to ensure your Polar Verity Sense works at its best. Updates often include performance improvements or bug fixes—all designed to improve the quality of your experience.

To update your firmware:

  1. Connect your armband to the Visible app (make sure it has at least 50% battery).

  2. Go to Profile > About > Troubleshooting > Armband Firmware Update.

  3. If a new firmware version is available, follow the prompts to install.
