How do I tag an activity?

It's helpful to tag activities to check that your Heart Rate Zones are set up correctly and gain insights into how different activities impact your energy and symptoms.

You can tag an activity tag as follows:

1) On the Today screen, tap on your live heart rate data:

2) Now, on the Heart Rate page, tap on Tag activity underneath your heart rate chart.

Remember: You can use your fingers to zoom in and out of your heart rate data or double-tap on the area you want to examine more closely to zoom in.

3) Drag the two lines (or type in the boxes) to indicate your activity's start and end time.

4) Tap Search or add new tag and either type in a new tag and assign an icon to it, or tap an existing one:

5) Save your Activity Tag!

Always tag your activity after it's happened so that your PacePoints are calculated accurately.

How do I edit an activity tag?

If you have multiple tags for similar activities, e.g., “Showering,” “Shower,” and “Shower + dry,” it can sometimes be helpful to combine these to gain more valuable insights and better organization.

You can edit your activity tags as follows:

  • Go to the Today page and tap on your live heart rate to open the Heart Rate page

  • On this page, tap Activity Insights below the Heart Rate graph.

  • Select your tag in Activity Insights and then tap Edit.

How do I delete an activity tag?

To delete an individual activity tag, go to the Heart Rate page on the date where you tagged the activity:

  1. Scroll down to the tagged activity, underneath the Heart Rate graph.

  2. Double click on the activity you wish to delete e.g. "made dinner".

  3. Click Delete.
