Deciding where to wear your band
Visible Band 2.0 is validated to give reliable data in both the upper arm and wrist location. So it's up to you which works best for your lifestyle.
For comfort and discretion, many members prefer to wear their band on the wrist. This also offers improved sleep detection due to increased wrist movement. This makes the wrist location more effective at capturing wake times and nighttime awake periods.
Wearing your band on your arm can improve the accuracy of heart-rate monitoring.
Changing where you wear your band
If you'd like to change where you wear your band, you can buy wrist and arm straps via the in-app Visible Shop. The shop is only available in the app for Visible members.
It's important to update the band location in your app if you change where you're wearing your band. This informs our algorithms.
To update your band location in the app, go to Profile > My account > Band location. Select where you want to wear your band from the options (left wrist, right wrist, left arm, right arm) and save your changes.
