You must be at least 16 years old to create a Visible account.
What parents and guardians should know
Under-16s can use Visible, but a parent or guardian must accept the Agreement on their behalf and take full responsibility for their use of the service.
Visible Band 2.0 straps fit adult wrists and arms
As both the wrist and arm straps are designed for adults, they may not fit your child. Check our wrist and arm strap size specifications before purchasing.
You may need to adjust heart rate zones manually
Visible hasn't been officially tested with members under 18. And some features aren't designed for younger users. For example, heart rate zones use standard adult ranges and haven’t been calibrated for children, so you may need to adjust them manually.
Visible works best when you keep your phone nearby
Visible can only be used on one phone at a time. This phone needs to stay close by at all times to maintain a connection to the band and allow data to sync continuously.
If your child isn't allowed to use their phone at school, or if you want to monitor their data on your own phone, Visible may not be the best fit.
Daily check-ins help you get the most from Visible
The app also works best when members check in every day. Before you sign up, consider whether your child can keep up that routine.
Setting Visible up for a child under 16 years old
If you’ve decided Visible is right for your child, follow these steps:
Create an account using your own age.
Accept the Agreement on behalf of your child.
Set up the Visible app and Visible Band 2.0 for your child. Adjust any features as needed, like heart rate zones.
Check in regularly to make sure your child is using the app safely and consistently.
