You must be at least 16 to create a Visible account. Under 16s can use Visible, but a parent or guardian must accept the Agreement on their behalf.
What parents and guardians should know
As both the wrist and arm straps are designed for adults, they may not fit your child. Make sure to check our specifications before purchasing.
Visible hasn’t been officially tested for members under 18. Some features aren’t designed for younger users. For example, heart rate zones use standard adult ranges and haven’t been calibrated for children, so you may need to adjust them manually.
Visible can only be used on one phone at a time and this phone needs to stay nearby at all times to maintain a connection to the device and allow data to continuously sync. This means that if your child is not allowed to use their phone at school, or if you are looking to monitor their data on your own device, Visible may not be the best fit.
The app also works best when members check in every day. Think about whether your child can keep up that routine before you sign up.
How to set up Visible for a minor
If you’ve decided Visible is right for your child, follow these steps:
Create an account using your own age.
Accept the Agreement on behalf of your child.
Set up the Visible app and Visible Band 2.0 for your child. Adjust any features that need it - like heart rate zones.
Check in regularly to make sure your child is using the app safely and consistently.
