A new Monthly Check-in opens every 30 days.
You have 7 days to do your check-in once it's available
Your seven days start at midnight on the day your check-in opens. If it opens on May 1 and you start it on May 3, it is still open until midnight on May 7, in your local time.
The check-in has 6 sections: Fatigue, Thinking, Movement, Social roles, Symptom delay and Pain interference.
You don't have to finish in one go. Your progress is saved at the end of each section, so you can come back any time within your 7 days.
The app shows how long you have left
The card on your Today page shows how many days are left, and updates each day.
When you tap on this card, the Before you begin screen tells you the date your check-in closes.
To see when your next check-in opens, go to your Profile page and tap Monthly Check-in.
Answering within 7 days keeps your check-ins comparable
Some of the questions ask how you've been over the past 7 days. Answering soon after your check-in opens means those questions cover a similar stretch of time each month. This is what makes your check-ins comparable month to month.
The 7-day window gives you time to complete the check-in at a pace that works for you.
Set up a reminder to complete your check-in
To set up a reminder for your Monthly Check-in, open the app and go to Profile → Reminders. From there, you can turn the reminder on or off and choose the time you'd like to be notified.
Once enabled, you'll get a notification on your phone at the set time on the day your next check-in opens. You’ll also be send a reminder the day before it closes, if you haven’t completed it yet.
If you miss one, your next check-in opens as usual
You can't go back and complete a check-in once it’s closed. You might miss some months and that’s okay. Missing a check-in doesn’t break anything. The check-in is there to be useful to you, not another thing to keep on top of.
Your next check-in will open on its scheduled date, 30 days after the last one opened.
