Completing your Monthly Check-in

How to start the check-in, save your progress, and skip the optional sections

Start the check-in from your Today page

Follow these steps to complete your check-in:

  1. Open the Visible app and go to your Today page.

  2. Tap the Monthly Check-in card under Today’s tasks. It shows how long the check-in is open.

  3. Read the Before you begin screen, then tap Next.

  4. Answer the questions, one section at a time.

  5. Tap Submit and view summary.

  6. Review your summary, which appears straight away.

If you can't see the card, no check-in is open at the moment. Go to your Profile page and tap Monthly Check-in to see the date of your next one.

The check-in works offline, so you can complete it without an internet connection.

Your progress is saved at the end of each section

The check-in has 6 sections: Fatigue, Thinking, Movement, Social roles, Symptom delay and Pain interference. Read more about what the Monthly Check-in asks you.

At the end of each section you reach your progress screen, which shows how far through you are.

From there you can tap Start next section, or Save and exit to stop for now.

Your check-in is open for 7 days. You can return any time within that window.

You can change an answer until you save the section

While you're working through a section, you can go back and change any answer in it.

Saving a section locks in your answers to reflect how you felt at that time.

There are no right or wrong answers, answer in the way that feels right for you.

You may skip the optional sections

The questions about Symptom delay and Pain interference are optional. Complete them if it's helpful to you. Otherwise, you can skip them and still get your summary.

You can see which sections are skipped before you submit your check-in. Tap Resume to go back to any of them.

You cannot edit or redo a check-in once it’s been submitted.

The more sections you answer, the fuller your summary

Answering every section gives you a reading for each part of your health that month, and the clearest view of how things have changed over time.

If you completed all of the sections and press Submit and view summary, you will see your summary right away.

If you completed at least one section, your check-in is submitted automatically when your 7-day window closes. Your summary is there when you next open the app.

It shows the sections you completed, with the rest marked as Skipped. You can't open a skipped section. In your list of check-ins, it will be labeled Partially completed.

If you didn't finish any sections, nothing is saved for that month.

Some months you may not manage it, and that's okay. Answer what you can.
