Updated over a week ago

Overview

  • You can download all the data you've ever tracked during your Morning, Evening, and Monthly check-ins.

  • In the Visible app, just tap on Export data in the Profile tab to export your data as a comma-separated value (csv) file.

  • The export data is in raw format, whereas the Health Report PDF presents it visually.

  • If you have a Visible membership, please note that the Data export does not include your live continuous heart rate data or Heart Rate Zones.

What data is included in the Data export?

The data export includes all the information available to view in Trends, plus your Monthly check-in answers. Every check-in you’ve submitted appears in the export, so you can see how your data has changed over time.

  • Morning check-in data: Sleep score, resting heart rate, heart rate variablility and Stability score

  • Evening check-in data: Symptom scores, exertion scores, medications,  experiences (period, crash, and infection), and lifestyles.

  • Evening check-in Notes: These are found at the very end of the spreadsheet.

  • Monthly check-in: All answers submitted for the Monthly check-in FUNCAP survey. (But not the final average score.)

If you have a Visible membership, your export will additionally include:

  • Breathing session minutes

  • PacePoints and PacePoint budget

Please note the export does not include Heart Rate Zones or live continuous heart rate tracked

How do I create a data export?

To download all the check-in data you’ve tracked so far using Visible, in the app, go to Profile → Data Export → Export CSV.

It will take a moment for the exported data to download. Once downloaded, you can choose to save the export to your files or message it to yourself, e.g., via email.

What software do I need to view my exported data?

You can open your exported data using most spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Numbers. The data is in the form of a .csv file.

What is a CSV file?

A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a text file format that uses commas to separate values and newlines to separate records. This file format is widely supported by common spreadsheet software applications such as Microsoft Excel or Numbers.

How is the data in the data export file presented?

The columns in the data export are:

  • observation_date : e.g. 2024-12-11

  • tracker_name : e.g. Stability Score

  • tracker_category : e.g. Measurement

  • observation_value : e.g. 3

Are my Evening check-in notes included in the Data Export?

Yes, your Evening check-in notes are found at the very end of the CSV file. Scrolling down to the bottom of the file might take some time, so try using the find/search function to search for “Note” in your application software.

I have a membership. Is my continuous heart rate data included in the data export?

No. The export only includes heart rate data from your Morning Check-in (the reading taken during your Morning Stability score). It does not include your live heart rate data, which is continuously tracked by your band throughout the day (as shown on the Heart Rate page), or your heart rate zones.
