Overview
Whether you want to try out Visible’s free research app or use our wearable and membership, getting started is easy. Just download the app and create a Visible account. Your account lets you explore all the free features and link your membership if you have one.
How do I download the Visible app?
You can download the Visible app from your regional App Store or Google Play Store using this link: https://onelink.to/visible. Once you’ve downloaded it, open the app and tap Get Started to create your account.
The app is available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Australia, Norway, the Netherlands, and Mexico. To download the app, your device must be running iOS 15 or later, or Android 9.0 or later.

Can I use the Visible app on a tablet?
Yes. Visible's free research app can be downloaded on a tablet or iPad. However, the Morning check-in requires a camera with a flash to measure your heart rate and heart rate variability, so tablets without a flash won’t be able to use this feature.
If you have a Visible membership, we strongly recommend using a smartphone. Pacing with Visible works best when you can receive and monitor your pacing alerts throughout the day. This is typically easier with a phone.
How do I create a Visible app account?
Once you've downloaded the Visible app, you can create an account in just a few steps:
Open the Visible app and tap Get Started
Enter your personal details, such as your name and the symptoms you'd like to track with Visible
Choose how you'd like to sign in:
Sign in with Google
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with an email address
If you sign in with a Google or Apple account, your Visible account will be created immediately. If you sign in with an email address, you’ll need to confirm your email to complete setup.
✉️ Signing in with email
We'll send you a login email each time you sign in. Look for an email titled "Log in to Visible" and tap Log in to sign in to your account. Make sure to check your inbox and any spam or junk folders.
Once your account is created, you can start using the app straight away. Free features, such as the Morning and Evening check-ins, are available immediately. If you would like access to additional features, you can continue on to set up a Visible membership.
How do I link my Visible membership to my app account?
If you purchased a Visible membership online, you’ll need to link it to your app account before you can start using it. To do this, follow the instructions in your order confirmation email. For more information, see How do I activate my Visible membership?
How do I delete my Visible app account?
If you no longer wish to use Visible, you can delete your account at any time.
Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal data, check-in data, and heart rate data from our servers.
If you have opted into any research studies in the app, any data you shared for research purposes is anonymized. Because this data cannot be linked back to you, it cannot be deleted.
To delete your Visible account, follow these steps:
Open the Visible app.
Go to the Profile page.
Tap My account at the top of the page.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your account deletion. Once confirmed, the data deletion process will begin.
Important note: You must cancel any active membership before deleting your account. Your account can't be deleted until your membership renewal has been cancelled. For more information on how to do this, see Managing Visible membership.
Frequently asked questions
I've already signed up for Visible online. Why does the app say I don’t have an account?
Purchasing a Visible membership on the Visible website does not automatically create an app account. To get started, download the Visible app, create an account, and then link your membership using the instructions in your order confirmation email. Can I download and sign in to the app on multiple devices?
We understand it can be helpful to access your information on more than one device, for example, so a family member or carer can see your pacing information. However, for now, we recommend signing in to the Visible app on only one phone at a time to avoid data syncing issues.
Will I lose any data if I uninstall the app from my phone?
No. Your check-in and heart rate data is securely stored in your account and backed up on our servers. Before removing the app, we recommend logging out first to ensure your data is fully synced with our servers. When you reinstall the app and sign back in later, your data will still be available.
